Our Cases
A combination of mismatching fillings and crowns as well as a narrow smile and over dominant central teeth lead us to a combination treatment plan incorporating, orthodontics, implant surgery, crowns, and veneers. A priority was to create a solution that was as healthy as possible in both the short and long term.
Old composite bonding was starting to fail and the patient requested something with higher aesthetics and less maintenance. We opted to place 2 minimal preparation ceramic veneers on the front 2 teeth and some subtle whitening the brighten the overall smile.
We were tasked with very high aesthetic demands to improve the mild overlapping front teeth that were misshapen and not symmetrical. We needed to blend the 2 veneers and 2 crowns we placed on the front 4 teeth, seamlessly with the rest of the whitened smile
You name it we did it. An aesthetic overhaul was requested to the worn and misshapen top and bottom teeth. There was significant wear as well as lots of historical dentistry with multiple materials and colours. The majority of this case was completed with implants and crowns, to give high aesthetics and long-term strength and predictability.
A failing bite and years of mismatched historical work led this patient to having an overhaul that needed to be natural looking and age appropriate. We needed to create a more harmonious bite that was stable in the long term, and gave a brighter but not too dominant smile
This patient had some unfortunate trauma that required a team approach to rebuild damaged bone. The patient was tempted to go abroad but once the complexities and nuances of achieving something both predictable and healthy were explained they decided they would both fix their broken teeth, and at the same time achieve the smile of their dreams. They wanted a very youthful, wider, brilliant white look, but one that looked aesthetic and had lots of personalisation and characterisation. They didn’t want white flat ‘tombstone’ teeth.
I was referred this case presenting with TMJ ‘Jaw problems’. There was a bite that was lacking in balance and harmony. We also had time pressures to having a smile improvement ready for a big family wedding. A combination of crowns and composite and implants has both brightened and improved the symmetry of the smile, but also created a bite that encourages much less risk of future breakdown of the teeth. The jaw issues were resolved with improvements in the bite
A big smile make over was needed for a big character. The lower jaw has started to slip forward and was causing jaw pain and the breakdown of numerous teeth. We reset the jaw position and gave a bite that was balanced. We did some non-invasive composite work to the anterior teeth to give an aesthetic refresh at the same time.
